A licence of marriage granted by Judge John Harold Ellison, Lord Bishop of Salisbury, to allow John Robinson of the Liberty of The Close of the Cathedral Church in Salisbury in the County of Wiltshire, a Lay Vicar, a Widower of the age of 48 years, and Sandra Gail Hudson of the Liberty of the Close of the Cathedral Church in Salisbury, formerly of the Parish of Wilton in the County of Wiltshire, Spinster of the age of 24 years, to marry at Salisbury Cathedral within three months of the date of the licence. This is only a photocopy of the original document and is accompanied by a photocopy of the Banns of Marriage Application form with tells us that Sandra was a Actuarial Student and that they were both living at 57e The Close during the time of the application. It also gives the couples dates of birth and the names of their fathers and their professions.
