Description

Loose press cuttings relating to Salisbury Cathedral and The Close (1991-1992). The cuttings have been taken from both local and national newspapers and many are black and white photocopies opposed to originals. The majority of the cuttings contain articles and letters in response to the Close Conservation and Management Report which recommended that the High Street Gate and Harnham Gate be permanently closed to all vehicles.
