Chapter Leases in the Close

A collection of nine boxes of leases of Close property owned by the Dean and Chapter. They scan the period 1737-1987 although there are very few from the post war period. Many of the leases include plans. Details of individual documents are listed in the hardcopy catalogue. The leases are arranged in bundles in house number order. Box 10 is a separate collection of loose lease and related documents brought together 2015-2020 which in may be appropriate to amalgamate with the main series when full cataloguing takes place.
