1670 Valuations of Prebends

Accounts, statements and terriers relating to a c1670 valuation of prebends, apparently in response to a letter from John Greenhill (chapter clerk or registrar) by direction from the Dean and Chapter requiring (by virtue of a letter to them from Canterbury) a statement on income and expenditure. The items were found in a bundle labelled '1670, Signed & sealed statements of value, rents, etc. of prebends, with some terriers of the prebends.' See CH/11/1668.
