Bond from Robert Pinkney to the Dean and Chapter for Payment of the Fifth Part of His Prebend

Robert Pinkney clerk, rector of Russall [Rushall] in the county of Wiltshire and prebendary of the prebend of Beamister [Beminster] Prima in the County of Dorset, bound to the Dean and Chapter of Salisbury in 20 pounds to be paid to the Dean and Chapter, their executors or successors. The condition was that Robert Pinkney, his executors, administrators or assigns would pay the sum of 8 pounds and 5 shillings for the fifth part of his prebend rent for 2 and a half years towards the reparations of the Cathedral, beginning at Lady Day next ensuing. The payment would be given to the Commoner of the Dean and Chapter. This would continue as long as the Dean and Chapter or their successors required.
