17th-century dark brown calf over paper boards; sewn on four supports; boards decorated with blind fillets forming rectangular frame towards perimeter of boards, with blind fleurons at inner corners; spine with four raised bands, and gilt fillets; spine label with author and title; date 1670 in gilt at tail of spine; blind fillets around board edges.
