17th-century dark brown calf over paper boards; sewn on five supports; boards decorated with blind fillets forming rectangular frame towards perimeter of boards, with blind stamps at inner corners; spine with five raised bands, and gilt fillets; spine labels with titles of the four items in the volume; date 1659 in gilt at tail of spine; gilt fillet around board edges; text block edges sprinkled red; evidence of chain-plate at fore-edge of lower board.
