Description
A booklet contained an annotated pasted cutting of the entry for Saint Osmund from 'The Dictionary of English Church History' by Ollard, S and Crosse, G, Mowbray, 1912 and presumably written by Christopher Wordsworth. On the reverse of the last page Christopher Wordsworth has written: 'Dimensions of the three cathedrals from East to West, Length, St Osmunds Church 173 feet Bp Roger's 316 feet Bp Richard Poore 473 feet.' Also a black and white photograph of the foramina of St Osmund's shrine when it was located on a plinth the Nave. Rows of rush chairs are visible in the background.
