Confirmation of the translation of the see from Old Sarum to new Salisbury and grant to the burgesses of the same rights and customs as those held by the burgesses of Winchester, dated at Westminster. One of three charters written on the same piece of parchment. Note on dorse reads "carte ecclesie Sarr exanimate termino sancti eiusdem fabrice". Kept with the charter is a translation.
