Charter of Henry II in which he grants and confirmed to Roger son of Everard all the fee which Alexander the nephew of Everard held at Ramesberia [Ramsbury], and the land at Minberie [Membury], and a hide at Caningas [Bishop's Cannings] and two hides at Laventona [Lavington], and a mill with "frusito post gravam de hersts" which belonged to Everard his father, which Joscelin Bishop of Sarum gave to him and his heirs to be held hereditarily by the service of two knights. Also he grants and confirms the donation which Simon de Lavintoria made to the said Roger of a hide and a half in Lavintona [Lavington] to be held in fee and hereditarily. Witnesses: Richard Bishop of Winchester, Geoffrey Bishop of Ely, John Dean of Sarum, Richard de Luci, Richard de Hum', Constables, Reginald de Curtenai, William de Laval', Robert Marmion, Thomas Basset, Robert son of Bern.
