Papers relating to "Salisbury Cathedral - Activities and Resources Study. Department of Liturgy and Music", undertaken in 2003. Including: 1. A typed form of eight pages, headed: "Name: Chris Crooks" "Position: Head Verger". Then several sections: - Brief Job Description - Summary of Responsibilites - Activities carried out most days - Activities carried out on a weekly basis - Activites carries out on a monthly basis - Activites carried out on a seasonal or irregular basis. Together with a further four typed pages setting out "The Head Verger's responsibilities" under the following headings: - Departmental Management by the Head Verger - Budget Manager - Liturgy - Security - Record Keeping - Notice Boards - Cleaning - Liaison with Music Department - Liaison with Head of LitMus [Liturgy and Music] - Liaison with the Clark of the Works, Technical Manager and Works Foreman - Liaison with Visitors Services Department - Liaison with Wren Hall Education Centre - Liaison with Volunteer Groups - Committees & Meetings 2. A hand-written form of 12 pages, headed: "Name: T Marshall, P Court, R Bates" "Position: Caretakers". Then several sections, as in the first part of (1) above: - Brief Job Description - Summary of Responsibilites - Activities carried out most days - Activities carried out on a weekly basis - Activites carries out on a monthly basis - Activites carried out on a seasonal or irregular basis. 3. A hand-writiten sheet headed "Resources". Undated and unattributed. Various entries under the following headings: - Cleaning - Rota - Reactive - Meetings - Budget - Enquiries - Resources Under "Reactive" there is speciific mention of "Events eg Diana death (funeral all night vigil)" [1997]; "QEQM [Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother] death" [2002]; "Twin Towers" [2001]. 4. Printed version of an email dated 5 January 2003 from Chris Crookes, Head Verger, addressed to "vestry", forwarding an email from Tim Hone, Head of Liturgy and Music, headed "Salisbury Cathedral - Activities and Resources Study". "I suggest that the attached form is used as the basis of the analysis". The blank "attached form" is in the same format as the completed forms at (1) and (2) above. 5. A blank copy of "the attached form" referred to in (4) above, printed on blue paper.
