Letter from G[iles] Sweit to Ralph Brideoake Dean of Salisbury regarding a Chapter meeting on Wednesday in Whitsun, to which he was to bring the counterpart of his lease and a terrier of his prebend. He regrets that he is unable to attend due to his old age (82) and infirmity, which means that he can endure neither horse nor coach. He also states that he does not have a terrier but can send a copy of the lease.
