Description
Indenture tripartite made between Anne Buckley widow and relict of James Buckley gent deceased and one of the daughters and [?] (writing obscured) of Stephen Gey clerk deceased of the first part, William Asherton of Prestwick in the county of Lancaster [Lancashire] clerk of the second part and Robert Burd and Richard Harrison both of the Middle Temple London gent of the third part. She the said Anne Buckley to and with the said William Assheton by these presents that she the said Anne Buckley shall and will at the costs and charges of William Assheton on this side and before the end of Trinity term next acknowledge and levy before his Majesty's Justices of the court of Common Pleas of Westminster or some other persons thereto lawfully authorised one or more fine or fines sur comizance de droit come ceo [etc] with proclamations according to the statutes in that behalf made and provided and the usual course of fines in such cases used unto the said William Assheton and his heirs of a moiety of all the messuages or tenement and two yard lands with the appurtenances in Tilshed [Tilshead] in the county of Wiltshire purchased of Robert late Lord Cecill [Cecil] and all that messuage or tenement and two yard lands with the appurtenances in Tilshead purchased of Francis Mereweather [Meriwether] and William Shergoll [Shergold] all which premises were the inheritance of Stephen Gey, and also of a moiety of all houses, buildings, orchards, gardens, pastures, feedings, lands and hereditaments whatsoever with the appurtenances, and of the rever[ti]ons and remainders of the same and all rents etc. Sealed and delivered by Anne Buckley, Robert Burd and Richard Harrison the parchment being first double stamped in the presence of Richard Mynshull and Edward Wood.
