26 deeds and other items relating to property at Tilshead, including leases and counterparts, releases, a bargain and sale, final concords, licence in mortmain, memorandum, letter, and surrenders. There is also a declaration of trust for the benefit of the Cathedral Library (using part of the revenue from Tilshead). All relate to property at Tilshead, most often two messuages with two yard lands or a piece or parcel of ground containing about 7 or 8 lugg. A paper label was found with the documents [?19th century] marked 'Choristers. Old Leases of Tilshead Farm from 1700 to 1847 inclusive.' This has been rehoused in melinex and put with the documents (it has not been catalogued).
