Description
Final concord made in the King's court at Westminster before Justices of the King and other faithful people then and there present between William Assheton [clerk] querent and Anne Buckley widow deforciant of a moiety of 2 messuages, 3 cottages, 5 gardens, 2 orchards, 100 acres of land, 40 acres of pasture and 2 acres of wood, and of common of pasture with the appurtenances in Tilshed [Tilshead]. Whereupon a plea of covenant was summoned between them in that court as follows: that the said Anne has acknowledged the moiety and common of pasture with the appurtenances to be the right of him William as those which the said William has of the gift of the said Anne. And those she has remised and quitclaimed from herself and her heirs to the said William and his heirs forever. And moreover the said Anne has granted for herself and her heirs that they will warrant to the said William and his heirs the said moiety and common of pasture with the appurtenances against the said Anne and her heirs forever. And for this recognizance remise quitclaim warranties fine and agreement the said William has given to the said Anne £100.
