Items are enclosed in a paper sleeve marked 'Vouchers of Paid Acc[ounts].' Includes receipts and bills for: charcoal; gratuities; work on the clock; rent (including Duke of Hamilton); infirmary building fund for old wainscotting; tuning the organ; organist's fee; lighting the Close lamps; salary to Church Writer; salary to Close constables; salary to sexton; candles; work on watercourses; coal; rope, cords and strap; brooms, mops, brushes and mat; drapers; gratuities; salary to Cathedral Clerk; dust pan and cast iron gratings; stools, matting, curtains etc; carved oak chair etc; anthems, paper and copying; bricklayer. There is also a loose receipt (outside of sleeve) for binding, books, candles etc.
