Description
Includes receipts and bills for: books, repairing books etc; elms, lime, and planting; money due to the Parish of St Martins; care of the clock; charcoal; work done on the organ; rent; work done to the west window; subscription to St Thomas Church; salary to the constables; salary to William Dodsworth sexton (care of communion plate, attending the library etc); timber and gravel; rubble; salary to Clerk of the Cathedral and Church Writer; mops, brushes, brooms etc; flints and rubbish carried; organist's fee; ropes; plasterer; carpenter; work done on the organ; stone mason and supplies; bricklayer and supplies; slater; plumber; smith; work done and supplies. There are some receipts dated 1825 and 1826. Within the main bundle, there were two separate bundles tied together with pink string (replaced with archival tape).
