An inventory made of the treasures of Salisbury Cathedral in 1928. The title pon the cover records that this was the liibrary copy but a note on the library bookplate inside has the following inscription;'d.d. Car.Myers Thesaurar in die Sci Ceddae, 2 Mar 1928' suggesting that the inventory was either complied by or presented to the library by Canon Charles Myers, Canon Treasurer. Items are divided into categories eg sacred vessels, High Altar. Within each category items are numbered, described and assigned a sum for insurance. Some pages have hand written notes and extra information recorded. In some cases the provenance of items is recorded particularly for the vestments and altar linen, At the back is a handwritten list of items kept in the Bishop's Palace chapel. There is also an index of donors of items and a contents page (at the end of the book).
